There are lots of reasons why couples choose to book a photoshoot. The big reason for couples photography in North London is to celebrate an engagement! Having professional photos together is a great way to celebrate, and the images are a great way to announce your big news to the world!
Other special occasions are big reasons to book. If one of you are celebrating a big birthday or an anniversary, choosing to have some photos taken is a beautiful and meaningful gift that you will love looking at for many years.
In a relationship, there’s often one person who takes all the photos… couples photography in North London is a great way to get you BOTH into the picture, without that outstretched-arm selfie!
HOW WE WORK
Once you have booked your couples photography in North London, we’ll have a little chat over the phone, via Zoom or in-person to plan & decide how to style your photoshoot.
We can talk about the styles of portraits you would like, how best to prepare and also discuss how you might want to display your final artwork.
Your photoshoot will be tailored to you and together we’ll decide on your outfits, colours and styles.
We’ll ensure your session is exciting and full of energy, yet keep you relaxed and comfortable too.
With our expert posing and lighting skills we will create a beautiful series of portraits that you’ll adore.

FAQs about Couples Photography
I’m used to being asked all sorts of things – and no question is silly! Here are just some of the things I’m asked regularly. Get in touch if you have more!
How Many People Can We Bring?
This session is just about the two of you! If you’d like to bring the kids, siblings, family or parents, then take a look at my family photography page.
What Should I Bring?
Bring a snack for yourselves if you would like (adults can get hangry too!)
If you would like to include a special prop, something sentimental to you, then please do bring it!
Refreshments are provided for you too.
What Should We Wear?
Many people are unsure what clothes to bring, but there are a few simple guidelines:
Plain simple colours are best
Avoid large graphics/logos/bold patterns.
Bring a variety of outfits and we’ll help you choose
Do your best to co-ordinate your outfits – for example different shades of the same colour (blues, greens etc) or neutrals (beiges, creams) for the most beautiful portraits.
Can You Photoshop Me?!
Yes….but with the posing skills we’ll teach you and the lighting techniques we use we won’t really need to!
Most mums would like to be in the photos “if only they could lose some baby weight”. There’s no need to worry about that though! We’ll guide you and position you so that you’ll look your absolute best with appropriate lighting, posing and styling. After all your little ones will want to have photos of themselves with mum, dad & the whole family in the future!
